In this project, I did a layout design for an educational book for teenagers focused on forestry in Iceland. The text and the pictures were predetermined.

I wanted to create a balance between rectangular and disarray troughout the book. By changing the "original" layout of books, I tried to be more risky. The focus refers to the white space on the pages. I utilize the space for playing around with the pictures and some typography details. The text, on the other hand, is narrow. I edited the photographs with the gradient map in Photoshop to assemble a touch of colour.
